BackgroundIn conjunction with LGBTQ+ exhibition Myth Makers —
Spectrosynthesis III at the Tai Kwun Contemporary, Tai Kwun Conversations: Spill the Tea and Werq! Truth & Performance in Hong Kong Drag Culture by the Education and Public Programme team invited drag
artists of two generations, Coco Pop and DragJam to
share the changes of drag culture since the 2000s, and
how this transformation has affected lives in the queer
community. 193 participants joined the conversation.
Tai Kwun Conversations invites international and local
visual and performing artists, creative industry
professionals, and academics to share their knowledge and
stimulate dialogues with the public. It is a key exhibition-themed public programme.
RoleAs the Project Owner, Kwong supported the programme curation, communication with artists, content development, production and promotion.
He also co-moderated the panel discussion with academic Sonia Wong.
